Exciting news, the wonderful crew at Classic Comics have invited me to be a guest in-store for Free Comic Book Day next weekend!

I'll be doing commission sketches all day and selling a few prints as well, this is the perfect chance to come and see me if you missed me at Supanova. So very excited, this will be my first ever FCBD event.

Melbourne Supanova was an amazing weekend! Thank you everyone for stopping by and making it an amazing weekend.

Over the weekend I was offering my usual commission sketches, and they kept me flat-out. I barely had a second to leave my booth and wow I got some great requests. I got to draw all of my favourite DC comics ladies as well as some My Little Ponies and a Sonic the Hedgehog.

I'm going to be making my first ever special guest appearance at a Con (besides SDCC) next week at Armageddon Expo in Melbourne:

I had a fantastic time at SDCC! The trip was exhausting, the longest I've ever traveled (the main flight was over 16 hours) but it was so worth it.

I thought my San Diego Comic Con plans were finalized but the Womanthology crew have organised a few extras for the weekend. Besides the Womanthology panel I'll be a part of on Thursday, 4 - 5pm in room 25ABC there will also be a signing at the IDW booth between 10 - 11am on Friday. We also have an Artist's Alley table during the Con and we'll all be taking shifts selling Con sketches and other things.
I have a few prints and comic sketch covers to bring, I'll try and update everyone with my final shift times before the Con but if I can't hopefully we'll have a schedule at the booth if you want to catch me over the weekend.

The Image book I worked on with Alex De Campi and Christina Larsen is also now available for pre-order! It’s going to be $24.99 when it comes out because this book is has a lot of pages. I can’t remember the final page count but it’s a lot. However if you click the link above you can pre-order the book for just $12.49!

Yesterday I finished up the final page for the Image book I did some work for that’s coming out in September! 84 pages later and this thing is a tome, I need to carry it the entire thing with two hands:


My plans for San Diego Comic Con are pretty much settled! I'll be there hanging out all 4 days, attending as many portfolio reviews as I can, and .... I'm on a panel!

Inking mistakes are the worst! Spilled my pot of ink, was thankfully able to fix it in Photoshop.

I sketched this roughly before re-drawing it onto another piece of paper and attacking the background with my watercolour paints.

Quick morning warm-up sketch of Frankie from Monster High. I am getting strangely addicted to this series, my favourite character is Ghoulia. She’s such a cute nerd.
